Mentionwell for local services
Local-intent searches now route through AI engines too. Mentionwell runs region-aware AEO scans (you pick the cities), ships city-specific articles, and pushes them into your WordPress / Webflow / Shopify site with proper LocalBusiness schema.
The local AEO playbook
- List your service areas. Mentionwell scans each city as a separate locale.
- Define service clusters: emergency repair, scheduled maintenance, installation, etc.
- Run regional baseline scans. See which local competitors get cited for “best plumber in Austin”, “emergency plumber 78704”, etc.
- Ship city × service articles. Each gets unique local context, neighbourhood references, and LocalBusiness JSON-LD.
- Auto-detect “near me” intent. The writer adapts content shape based on whether the prompt is informational, navigational, or transactional.
Multi-region scans
Scale plan includes up to 3 regions per scan. Enterprise lifts that to unlimited. Each region can have its own prompt list, competitor list, and cadence.
Multi-language
Articles ship natively (not translated) in any of six tier-1 locales: English (US/UK), German, French, Spanish, and Hebrew with full RTL. Local services with multilingual customer bases can run a Mentionwell site per language and target each market natively. Read the language spec →
Local-friendly defaults
