01What can I try without a credit card?
New accounts get a 14-day trial with one researched article and three ChatGPT answer checks. After that, you stay on Free with one article a month for one site. Nothing is charged unless you choose a paid subscription.
02Can I write on demand or publish on a schedule?
Yes. Ask for a specific article in the dashboard or through your connected AI agent, or set a publishing schedule. Both use the same monthly article allowance. Automatic publishing is a setting you control. Continuous monitoring of fresh industry news is a separate feature on Growth and Scale.
03How does Mentionwell choose what to write?
It researches your business, topics your buyers search for and competing content. AI visibility checks show which brands and sources appear in answers, helping identify relevant article opportunities. It writes original articles for your product and audience. Search rankings, citations and traffic are not guaranteed.
04Can I use my existing website?
Yes. Articles belong on your own website. Connect WordPress, Ghost, a GitHub repository or a custom site through a supported integration. You can draft your first article before connecting. Review the integrations page for the setup your site needs.
05How are article limits shared?
Your monthly allowance is shared across your websites. Free includes one site and one article; paid plans include unlimited sites. Builder allows up to five articles per site per month. Starter, Growth and Scale allow up to 30 per site, within the account's total allowance. Add-on packs increase the account allowance, not the per-site limit.
06What is an AI answer check?
One question checked in one AI engine and one region uses one prompt-run. Checking the same question in four engines uses four prompt-runs. These checks measure visibility; article generation has its own separate allowance.
07Can I use Claude Code or Codex on a lower plan?
Yes. The Mentionwell skill, CLI and account MCP work on every plan, including Free. They use the same article and visibility allowances as the dashboard. The separate REST API starts on Growth.
08Can I change or cancel my plan?
Manage your subscription from Billing. Cancellation stops renewal and access continues until the end of the current billing period. Monthly prices are shown here; annual billing is also available in checkout. Check the final amount and billing period before subscribing.
