Integration
Webflow integration
Last updated
Connect Webflow with one site-scoped API token. Mentionwell creates collection items with rich-text content, featured images, slugs, and meta — your page template renders them with whatever design you've already shipped.
How it works
- Generate a site-scoped API token in Webflow → Workspace settings → Integrations.
- Map your fields. Tell Mentionwell which collection holds blog posts, and which fields are name, slug, body, summary, image, etc.
- Pick a publish strategy. Push as draft, staged, or live. Webflow’s “Publish” step can be automated via webhook.
- Optional revalidation. Wire your Webflow publish webhook to your CDN if you front Webflow with a custom edge (rare but supported).
What gets written into Webflow
- Name (article title) + slug.
- Post body as Rich Text (paragraphs, headings, lists, links, embedded media).
- Summary / excerpt for the listing page.
- Main image (uploaded to asset library, alt text included).
- SEO title + meta description fields (if your collection has them).
- Reference fields — categories, authors, featured flag — if you map them.
The Webflow + AEO story
Webflow design teams ship beautiful sites and then struggle to keep the blog moving. Mentionwell is the missing back office: it tells you which prompts you’re losing across answer engines, drafts the article that closes the gap, and pushes it into Webflow without anyone touching the Designer.
